Colorectal Cancer Care
In the United States, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer among men and women. The American Cancer Society estimates 104,270 new cases of colon cancer, and 45,230 new cases of rectal cancer will be diagnosed this year. The lifetime risk of developing colorectal cancer for men is about 1 in 22, and 1 in 24 for women.
While these statistics may be frightening, the team at UnityPoint Health Cancer Services - Methodist is here to provide care and comfort. We are dedicated to educating our patients on preventative actions to stop the cancer before it starts.
