Colorectal Cancer Care

In the United States, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer among men and women. The American Cancer Society estimates 101,420 new cases of colon cancer and 44,180 new cases of rectal cancer will be diagnosed this year. The lifetime risk of developing colorectal cancer for men is about 1 in 22, and 1 in 24 for women.

While these statistics may be frightening, the team at UnityPoint Health Methodist - Cancer Services is here to provide care and comfort. We are dedicated to educating our patients on preventative actions to stop the cancer before it starts.

If you feel that you may be at risk, reach out to your primary care provider to schedule a screening appointment. Contact your provider through MyUnityPoint, or call your provider directly using our Find A Doctor tool.
