This is two part option for ACLS renewal through the American Heart Association web site course, then completion of skills testing at our UnityPoint Health - Methodist CTC office location.
Part One: Log on to the American Heart Association web site at: www.onlineaha.org and pay fees for the ACLS course for online testing. Fees are paid to the Heart Association, and are not waived for UnityPoint Health employees. Complete the online testing to receive a course completion certificate. Make a copy of this certificate to turn into the CTC Coordinator. Part one course may take several hours to complete on the computer web site.
Part Two: Call the CTC Coordinator at 309-672-4216 to schedule an appointment for the hands on, skills based mega code testing scenario competency. You must provide your Certificate of Completion from the Part One ACLS online testing, and then pass the CPR and ACLS mega-code to receive your ACLS provider card.
