Where to Go for Care

If you have a serious or life-threatening medical emergency, call 911 immediately. For immediate help with a mental health crisis, including suicidal thoughts, call 988.

Whether you need care now, want to schedule an appointment with your doctor or talk to a health care professional, we're here to help you find the health care you need, safely.

We know it can be frustrating when you or a loved one isn't feeling well. Please be kind. We want to get you better as soon as possible. We're doing our best, so you can feel your best.

Not feeling well? Try starting with your primary care provider, as many offer same-day appointments. If immediate primary care is not available, learn about your urgent care options. Select your arrival time online or walk-in to any of our urgent care or Express clinics. If you can't make it to a clinic and are a patient 18 or older located in Iowa, consider using virtual urgent care and SmartExam through MyUnityPoint.

Primary & Pediatric Care

If you have a non-urgent health concern and would like to talk to a primary care provider, please call your clinic during normal business hours or use your MyUnityPoint patient portal to see when a video, telephone or in-person visit can be scheduled.

We've expanded our primary care and pediatric services at select clinics to include scheduled visits over the phone or by video. We've also launched a new texting platform which creates a virtual waiting room for appointments that require a clinic visit.

Walk-In & Emergency Care

When to seek urgent care: When you have an illness or injury that is not life-threatening but still requires fast attention, find an urgent or express care near you. This can include infections like influenza, sore throat, sprains or minor cuts and burns.

When to seek emergency care: For serious or life-threatening health issues, call 911 or go to the emergency room immediately. This can include chest pain or heart attack symptoms, sudden or sever head pain, loss of consciousness, poisoning, uncontrolled fever or other potentially life-threatening conditions.

Urgent and emergency care teams work hard to best serve you. If you must wait, please be understanding. Our team members always strive to treat everyone with kindness, respect and give their full attention to your personal needs.

Care for COVID-19 Exposure or Symptoms

If you have respiratory symptoms including fever, cough and/or difficulty breathing, and you have had contact with a person with COVID-19, please call your primary care provider. Find COVID-19 testing in Central Illinois.

Mental Health Care

For immediate help with a mental health crisis, including suicidal thoughts, call 988.

A great place to start seeking mental health care is with your primary care doctor. They can refer you to one of our mental health professionals who specialize in the type of care you need. Beginning with your primary care doctor is sometimes the most affordable option, too. Find a physician near you by selecting one of the options below. Already have a provider? Visit the MyUnityPoint patient portal to send a message or schedule an appointment.
