Powell CDC offers families with a family member in addiction, an opportunity for education, and counseling support. This program takes place every Tuesday and Thursday 5:30pm-7:30pm. The first hour consists of a lecture or workshop designed to help educate family members about the disease of addiction. During the second hour, the family will attend a small group where they can receive support for themselves from counselors and other families. This program will consist of eight educational sessions and the topics consist of the following:

·      Disease of Addiction

·      Relapse Prevention

·      Codependency

·      Family Issues

·      Relapse and Recovery

·      Breaking the Addiction Cycle

·      Understanding Al Anon

·      Enabling and Boundaries


Registration is $300 (non-refundable). Fee is waived if family member is treated.

Group does not meet on holidays (Christmas, Memorial Day, 4th of July, etc.)
