If you plan to breastfeed your baby, we encourage you to register for this two-hour course. You will discuss essential information on how your body produces milk, what an effective latch looks like, how to know if your baby is feeding well, the basics of expressing your milk, what to expect during the beginning of your breastfeeding journey, and what support resources are available once you've been discharged from the hospital.
Our Lactation Services team encourages you to bring your support person with you to this class. A supportive partner positively impacts breastfeeding success and should learn about breastfeeding alongside you. You are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal or small doll to practice with during class!
