Heart and Mind Connection

MaryAnn Halpin, OTR/L, QMHP, occupational therapist, Robert Young Center, shares how the heart and mind both play an important role in how the other functions. Studies show people with depression are at greater risk for heart attacks and strokes, while people who report feeling optimistic have a lower risk of heart disease and stroke.
