While our stay in NICU was brief, we were, and still are, amazed by what the nursing staff did for our son.

March 15, 2017

I went into spontaneous pre-term labor on March 6, 2017. When I arrived at Meriter, I knew our son would be born much sooner than we had originally planned. Our L&D nurse, Barb, was a God-send. When our son's heart rate dropped for an extended period of time and an assisted delivery needed to happen ASAP, she kept me informed and calm all at the same time.

Our son was born at 34 weeks and spent some time in NICU. All of the NICU staff were great and we couldn't be happier with his care. The nurses that really took the time to help us become parents were Krista and Julie. They were patient with us and genuinely cared for my son. While our stay in NICU was brief, we were, and still are, amazed by what the nursing staff did for our son.
