We Need to Grow

...to serve more mothers, babies and families!

UnityPoint Health - Meriter needs to prepare and be ready to deliver quality care to an additional 850 new mothers, infants and families in our community.

By 2018, the Mother-Baby Expansion Project will renovate 36,000 square feet of existing hospital space. The project will create more patient rooms, family spaces, ultrasound suites, a milk laboratory and additional work stations for staff.

Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW) and UnityPoint Health - Meriter have partnered to provide mother-baby services to GHC-SCW members starting January 2018. GHC-SCW patients will receive all services related to prenatal testing, antepartum care, labor and delivery, postpartum, normal newborn and neonatal intensive care. The additional new patients from GHC-SCW are expected to increase Meriter's overall Mother-Baby services by 20 percent.

Employment Opportunities

As we prepare for this expansion, we need to grow our talented and diverse teams in the Center for Perinatal Care and Birthing Center. Throughout the year, we need to hire talented professionals like you to fill a variety of positions for pre-birth care, labor and delivery, and after delivery care.
