Where to Go for Care
At UnityPoint Health – Meriter, the health and safety of our patients, communities and team members is at the center of everything we do. We're here for you with safe options to get the care you need in a way that works for you.
We've made a few changes to our visitor policy, so be sure to check clinic closings and restrictions before calling.
Care for COVID-19 Exposure or Symptoms
If you have symptoms including fever, cough and/or difficulty breathing, and you have had contact with a person with COVID-19, please call ahead to your clinic or primary care provider before visiting a medical facility. For the full list of symptoms for COVID-19, visit here. You'll go through an assessment over the phone, which will help protect others from possible exposure to the virus.
For more resources and information on Coronavirus in our area, visit COVID-19 Wisconsin Connect.
UnityPoint Health – Meriter is offering antibody testing via scheduled appointments at all seven primary care clinics in Dane County. Antibody testing, known as a serological test, is a blood test that can indicate if you were previously infected with a specific germ, in this case, COVID-19. Since some individuals with COVID-19 infection have extremely mild symptoms or no symptoms at all, the antibody test can help identify those who were infected but didn't know it. Antibody testing should not be performed on anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last thirty days. The test also does not indicate a current infection of COVID-19, and it is not appropriate for those experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
