Touch a Life

Lives are touched every day at Grundy County Memorial Hospital because of the support that hundreds of individuals, families, businesses, and organizations have provided to the GCMH Foundation. When people arrive at the hospital in need of health care, they are secure in the knowledge that the hospital has up-to-date equipment and technology in the hands of health care professionals who treat you as if you are family.

Your gifts to the Foundation provide the means to achieve its mission to cultivate relationships and gifts to support Grundy County Memorial Hospital's vision of Best Outcome Every Patient Every Time.

2019 Annual Campaign

Gifts to the 2019 Annual Campaign  may be made online through the Donate Now button of this website, via check, cash, credit card, or through matching gift.   Donations may be made as a memorial or in honor of someone special to you.

The  2019 Campaign is now underway with a goal of raising $150,000.  Gifts will support the areas of greatest need within the hospital:
New and enhanced equipment for:
- Surgery Department, where a new ultrasound to guide anesthesia placement, new video equipment for surgeons, and a new waste management system are needed to replace aging equipment.
- Laboratory, where a new Blood Analyzer will help speed test results, providing faster diagnosis and care for the more than 6,000 patients who have Complete Blood Counts (CBCs) ordered by their doctor to aid in diagnosis of illness.
- Emergency Department, where faster than anticipated growth has caused wear and tear on items that must be replaced for patient safety.

The outstanding  care provided at GCMH has made it a first choice for residents of Grundy, Butler, Tama, and Hardin counties, who depend on the close-to-home health care services available at  GCMH.

We appreciate your consideration of a gift to support the Foundation.
