Grundy County Memorial Hospital Awarded for Outstanding Patient Experience

For the twelfth year in a row, Grundy County Memorial Hospital/UnityPoint Health has received a national award for excellent patient experience. This hospital’s Outpatient Services, which include Cardiac Rehabilitation, Lab, Radiology, Specialty Clinic, Surgery and Therapy, was awarded the 2020 Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence award.
Despite 2020 posing several challenges and unprecedented times for health care workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the staff at GCMH continued to provide the outstanding care and experience that our communities need and deserve. “I’m incredibly proud of our team at GCMH for once again winning this prestigious award for patient experience,” says Adam Scherling, MHA, GCMH Administrator. “This year has brought many challenges, but our team has stepped up and continues to make patient experience a top priority. I’m so honored to see our Outpatient Services recognized at the national level.”
