New Physical Therapist Welcomed to GRMC
UnityPoint Health® – Grinnell Regional Medical Center (GRMC) is pleased to announce the arrival of KayLynn Bland, physical therapist (PT, DPT). Bland started on October 2. She joins the current team of expert therapists providing inpatient and outpatient therapy at GRMC.
Bland earned her bachelors of science degree in kinesiology and health from Iowa State University followed by her doctorate of physical therapy from Des Moines University. She also minored in gerontology and nutrition during her time at Iowa State University.
Bland has professional clinical experience as a physical therapist, dietary aide, and with inpatient rehab as well as outpatient orthopedics and acute care. She says her career objective is to improve the health and wellness, mobility and quality of life for Iowans through movement.
“We are excited to welcome KayLynn’s orthopedic clinical skills and manual hands skills to our team,” says Tom Gallo, PT, GRMC director of rehabilitation.
