About This ProviderPrint

Why did you become a provider?

I chose clinical psychology as a profession as it allowed a wide range of professional activities to be able to engage in.

What is your medical philosophy?

We are treating unique individuals and must acknowledge that uniqueness in all that we do with each patient. It is most important to understand the patient's perspective before introducing our own perspective.

What type of care are you most passionate about?

Medical psychology, the treatment of trauma, particularly of childhood origin, and the relationships between spiritual and psychological issues.

Why did you choose your specialty?

I've come to the conclusion over the years that my profession chose me. I see it more as a calling then something one chooses.

What qualities best describe the care you give your patients?

Compassionate, patient-centered, intentional.

What motivates you each day?

Gratefulness, having a servant's heart, empathy.

What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice?

It involves partnership with the patient being the most important part of the treatment team.
