Behavioral Health Urgent Care
When you or a loved one needs immediate care for a behavioral health problem, but you don't need to go to an emergency room, turn to the behavioral health urgent care clinic at the Berryhill Center in Fort Dodge.
We accept patients without an appointment, so you get the care you need faster. Our mental health urgent care providers welcome walk-ins Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. We're located at 720 Kenyon Road in Fort Dodge, with the main entrance on the building's lower level.
Our Behavioral Health Urgent Care Services
Not every mental health crisis is an emergency, but you may not have time to wait hours or days for an appointment.
At the Berryhill Center's behavioral health urgent care clinic, we see both pediatric and adult patients. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have a parent or guardian with you. Our urgent care providers treat people who need:
- Mental health support services
- Crisis services
- Community resources
If you need immediate medical attention, go to the emergency room instead of the urgent care clinic. The emergency room can treat:
- Open or fresh wounds
- Unaccompanied minors
- People demonstrating aggressive behavior
- People having a crisis outside of our operating hours
If you or a loved one is experiencing a mental health emergency, dial 911 immediately. This includes:
- Considering taking actions to end one's own life
- Exhibiting behaviors or actions that could lead to self-harm, overdose or endangering yourself or others
