Meet the Staff 

Guy McCaw, MD

McCaw_GuyDr. Guy McCaw is a family practice provider at UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine and Walk-In Care in Peosta. He is board-certified in family medicine and is a fellow of American Academy of Family Practice. He is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). McCaw earned his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and his medical degree from University of Iowa. McCaw has been in practice for nearly 30 years. 

McCaw loves family practice medicine and especially enjoys caring for children and seniors. As a former obstetrics doctor, he has a long history of seeing infants to preschool-aged children. The best part of McCaw's day is helping his patients feel better and knowing that he provides passionate, meaningful care for his patients. McCaw sees patients for annual physicals, chronic and acute conditions. 


Brenda Husemann, ARNP

Brenda Husemann, ARNP is a family medicine provider at UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine and Walk-In Care in Peosta. She provides health services for the various stages of an individual's life. Husemann also sees patients for annual physicals, chronic and acute conditions, as a primary care provider.  Husemann really enjoys seeing patients for their annual wellness visits and working with patient on their overall health.    
Husemann believes open communication with patients is the best way to achieve health and wellness goals. Husemann wants patients to be open with their questions and to know she will work to find the best options for any situation.
Husemann earned her Master's Degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Her Bachelor's Degree is from University of Iowa and she has an Associate's Degree from Northeast Iowa Community College.  She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Husemann is a skilled provider who started her career in obstetrics nursing, has worked in a women's health outpatient clinic, and previously saw patients as a family nurse practitioner in Wisconsin.

Megan Sutton, MS.Ed, LPC

Megan Sutton is a Professional Counselor with Hillcrest Family Services in Dubuque. Sutton sees patients at UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine locations in Dubuque, Peosta and Cascade and Women's Health in Dubuque.
Sutton provides services for adolescents and adults using a variety of techniques and interventions to aid in developing skills to improve individual well-being. Her areas of focus include trauma informed care, anxiety, depression, thought disorders, parenting, and skill development.
Sutton individualizes treatment based on the needs of individuals, taking into account all aspects of their lives and acknowledging a person's experiences.
Outside of work, Sutton enjoys family dinners with her four children, and is an avid fan of Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Star Trek and Star Wars.
