Signs and Symptoms of a Heart Attack in Women

Typical:

  • Chest pain in center of chest; may be a pressure or tightness under the breast bone
  • Pain radiating to neck, jaw or left arm
  • Increased sweating
  • Nausea and possibly vomiting
  • Shortness of breath with little or no exertion

Atypical symptoms, which women are more likely to experience:
