Why did you become a physician/provider?
Medicine is a diverse, fascinating and challenging field. However, I have always primarily been attracted to a career as a physician due to the human component and opportunity to help others.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy?
I strive to provide the same high level of care to my patients as I would wish for my own family and friends.
What type of care/clinical interests are you most passionate about?
I work as a pediatric hospitalist, caring for children who have been admitted to the hospital.
Why did you choose your specialty?
The energy, innocence and resilience of children is irresistible, and I knew I wanted to be a pediatrician even before I started medical school!
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients?
Compassionate and empathetic.
Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day?
I desire only the best outcomes for each and every patient.
What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice?
It is a privilege to be entrusted with the care of your child, and I take this role very seriously.
