About This ProviderPrint
"When treating chronic wounds it is important to understand the underlying cause of the wound, co-morbidities and other factors preventing healing including the patient’s personal goals of care. By addressing all these elements I can treat the patient as a whole, respect their personal preferences and work with the patient and their families toward a common goal and improve their quality of life."
Dr. Kamin offers specialized treatment of chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers and wounds associated with diabetes and poor circulation. She also has expertise with acute wounds, such as burns and post-surgical non-healing wounds.
For Dr. Kamin, it is important that her patients feel well cared for. She is attentive to their needs and listens to their concerns. She takes a comprehensive approach to their care by first determining the underlying problem that is causing the wound. Once that is understood, Dr. Kamin thoroughly explains their diagnosis and available treatment options. Patients become active members of their treatment plan and have peace of mind knowing that Dr. Kamin is there, ready to help.
Outside of work, Dr. Kamin enjoys traveling and exercising.
