Certificate in Medical Laboratory Science

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) you will help provide diagnostic information to healthcare providers. An MLS can work in many areas of the laboratory, including Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology.

The MLS program at St. Luke's hospital will provide nine months of professional studies in the classroom and also practical instruction in the laboratory. Upon completion of the program students will be eligible to take a national certifying examination to become a Medical Laboratory Scientist. If students are enrolled in an affiliated university or college they may also earn credits towards their baccalaureate degree.
