About This ProviderPrint
I strive every day to provide the best and most up to date care that I can to help patients achieve their goals and stay healthy.
Why did you become a physician/provider?
I wanted to become a family physician to take care of patients and their families and become a part of my community. I love the range of care I can provide from young children to geriatrics. It makes the day interesting and exciting to have so much variety.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients?
I feel that I can provide well rounded and compassionate care to my patients. I genuinely want to get to know my patients and what they need from their provider. I strive every day to provide the best and most up to date care that I can to help patients achieve their goals and stay healthy.
Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day?
Seeing the difference I can make in the life of my patients is my main motivation. Spending the beginning of my career taking care of sailors and Marines as a Navy physician was a great way to see what a difference a provider can make in the lives of their patients. I hope to continue that in my hometown community.
What is the most important message you would like to share with your patients? What would you like your patients to know about you?
I am a family physician who completed residency and the first part of my career in the United States Navy taking care of patients in remote and deployment settings. I am very much looking forward to coming home to Iowa, spending time with my family and enjoying all the area offers.
