Meet our Physical and Occupational Therapists

All of Therapy Plus physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and occupational therapists have interest, skills, and advanced training with outpatient orthopedics. Here is additional information about the therapists and assistants:

Therapy Plus Downtown:

Cindy B, PT

Cindy received her master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Iowa. She has been at St. Luke's since 1992. Cindy is course certified in Complete Decongestive Therapy including Vodder manual lymphatic drainage and is a PT provider for the care of lymphedema (since 2001). Cindy also specializes in the treatment of jaw disorders and is a certified Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM®) provider.

Molly Bailey, PT, DPT

Molly received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the St. Ambrose University in 2008. She has worked at St. Luke's since 2013.

Sheli Christianson, PT

Sheli holds a master's degree in physical therapy from Washington University. She is a senior physical therapist and has worked at St. Luke's since 1991. Sheli has specialized training in lower extremity biomechanics and prescription orthotics.

Carol Schueller, PT, DPT

Carol received a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Marquette University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from St. Ambrose University in 2007. She has been at St. Luke's since 1989 and oversees the Therapy Plus clinics.

Kris Sehr, PT, ATC

Kris received her master's degree in physical therapy from Des Moines University in 1990. She is a licensed and certified athletic trainer, who earned her BA in Biology and Physical Education from Coe College in 1988. Kris has specialized training in lower extremity biomechanics and prescription orthotics, as well as treatment of sports medicine injuries. She continues to grow her experience with athletes each year and seek specialized continuing education in the areas of athletics and sports therapy. Kris has practiced at St. Luke's since 1990.

Briana Steffens, PT

Briana received her master's degree in physical therapy from the University of Iowa. She has worked at St. Luke's since 2001.

Nick Warneke, PT, DPT

Nick received a bachelor's degree in integrative physiology from the University of Iowa in 2010 and completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Des Moines University in 2013. He joined St. Luke's in 2015. He is a certified Myofasical Trigger Point Therapist in dry needling from Myopain Seminars since 2018.

Justin Kaspryk, OTR/L

Justin received his Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. Justin started practicing at St. Luke's in 2016. Justin is responsible for work rehabilitation/conditioning, ergonomic assessments, post job offer testing, and working with community businesses for injury prevention.

Jill Kreitman, PTA

Jill received her associate's degree from Southern Illinois University to become a physical therapist assistant. She is a level 1 PTA and joined St. Luke's in 1991. Jill has specialized training in aquatic therapy and is a certified ASTYM® provider.

Therapy Plus Westdale:

Sully Al-Ostaz, PT, DPT

Sully graduated with a Bachelor's in Kinesiology from Iowa State University in 2016 and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa in 2018. He joined the St. Luke's team in 2019.

Trisha Davis, PT, DPT

Trisha holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Des Moines University. Trisha joined St. Luke's in 2010. She specializes in the treatment of jaw disorders.

Tara Trcka, PT, DPT

Tara received her doctorate in Physical Therapy  from Creighton University in 2020. Prior to that, she received her bachelor of science degree in Biology from Mount Mercy University in 2017. Tara has been working at St. Luke's since 2020.   

Brock Yotty, PT, DPT, ATC, OCS

Brock received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. Brock has his BA in Athletic Training from Coe College, and holds his license and certification in Athletic Training. He also has specialized training in Functional Movement Screening. Brock was awarded the professional designation of board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 2021.

Kari Pendergrass, PTA

Kari received her associate of applied science degree in 2014 from Kirkwood Community College. She is a licensed physical therapist assistant and has worked at St. Luke's since 2014.

Therapy Plus Marion:

Kara Gillund, PT

Kara received her master's degree in physical therapy from University of St. Mary. She has worked at St. Luke's since 1997. Kara is course certified in Vodder manual lymph drainage and is a PT provider for the care of lymphedema (since 2001). She has specialized training in aquatic therapy and urinary incontinence/pelvic pain.

Erin Gochenouer, PT, DPT

Erin holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa. She joined St. Luke's in 2010. Erin is ASTYM® certified and is a certified Myofasical Trigger Point Therapist in dry needling from Myopain Seminars since 2018.

Danny Starr, PT, DPT

Danny received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from St. Ambrose University in 2020. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in human physiologyfrom the University of Iowa in 2017. He joined St. Luke's in February 2021.

Emily Stone, PT, DPT

Emily received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa in 2011. She is a certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist in Dry Needling from Myopain seminars since 2019. Emily joined St. Luke's in 2015.

Jennifer Svendsen, PT, DPT, ATC

Jenny received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa. Prior to that she earned her BA in Athletic Training from St. Ambrose University in 2003 and holds a license and certification in Athletic Training. She continues to build upon her experience with athletes each year and performs specialized continuing education in the areas of athletics and sports therapy. She has practiced at St. Luke's since 2006.

Shawna Wilson, PTA, ATC

Shawna received her Associates of Applied Science degree from Kirkwood to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. She previously received her BA from Coe College in Athletic Training in 2014. Shawna has her license and certification in Athletic Training and had six years of experience as an Athletic Trainer in areas schools before joining our clinical team. She continues to further her education each year in the areas of athletics and sports therapy. She has practiced at St. Luke's since 2014.

Jessa Stueck, PT, DPT

Jessa received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Missouri State University. She is course-certified in the treatment of Lymphedema. Jessa has been practicing at St. Luke's since 2017.

Karen Woeste, PT

Karen holds a master's degree from the University of Iowa. She has practiced at St. Luke's since 1999. Karen is ASTYM® certified.

Donna Logsdon, PTA

Donna received her associate's degree from Kirkwood Community College to become a physical therapist assistant. She has worked at St. Luke's since 2001. Donna is certified in ASTYM®.
