Our Partnerships and Keeping Kids Safe:
Together, Blank Children's Hospital, EMC Insurance Companies , Safe Kids Iowa, the University of Iowa Children's Hospital, and the University of Iowa Injury Prevention Research Center hosted the Keeping Kids Safe: Child and Youth Injury Prevention Conference annually for 12 years. Each year, the conference featured speakers from around the country who have discussed topics such as child passenger safety, drowning prevention and social media marketing. In 2014, the conference took on a different look and feel and the 2014 Iowa Childhood Injury Prevention Webinar Series was held in lieu of a formal, day-long conference. In 2015, we hosted the first annual Preventing Childhood Injury Conference at Blank Children's Hospital.
