We're Going Virtual - reduced price

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we are moving our conference to a virtual format. This will help ensure the safety and well-being of our attendees while still providing you with the outstanding speakers and education you are used to receiving at our conference year after year.

Intended Audience:

Nurses who participate in the care of children and adolescents.

Purpose:

To enable the learner to apply evidence-based information to care for the pediatric patient.  

Learning Outcomes

  1. Identify diagnostic criteria for ARFID.
  2. List multiple approaches for assisting caregivers as they navigate a new diagnosis of ARFID.
  3. Identify medical assessment findings that may be indicators of human trafficking in minors. 
  4. Discover the various legal issues surrounding social media use in the healthcare setting. 
  5. Describe common symptoms children experience following a stressful experience. 
  6. Identify resources available to support students and healthcare personnel in light of COVD-19.
  7. Discuss the clinical characteristics of COVID-19 in children. 
  8. Describe the difference in clinical findings between pediatric and adult patients with COVID-19.
