Where to Go for Care During COVID-19
UnityPoint Health will test all patients admitted to our hospitals for COVID-19. This includes planned admissions and transfers of all ages who have not been tested for COVID-19 in the prior 72 hours.
Please Call Ahead Before Any Visit & Wear a Mask or Face Covering
To reduce community spread of COVID-19, we're asking all patients to please call ahead before visiting a clinic. If you have an appointment at a UnityPoint Health location, please wear a mask or face covering except for children under two years old, anyone who has trouble breathing, is unconscious, incapacitated or unable to remove the mask without assistance.
If you have a medical emergency, please call 911.
Treatment for COVID-19 Exposure or Symptoms
If you believe you have been exposed to COVID-19, or developed symptoms related to the virus, please call your Blank Provider Team (your primary or specialty provider) before visiting a medical facility. Proper screening and assessment will occur over the phone, and you'll then be advised on next steps. These precautions are important, as they help protect others from being exposed to the virus.
Treatment for Non-Covid-19 Symptoms
If you need treatment for something unrelated to COVID-19, please call your Blank Provider Team (your pediatric or specialty provider) and they will direct your care.
Parking on the Iowa Methodist/Blank Children's campus for clinic visits
