Where to Go for Care During COVID-19
If you have a medical emergency, please call 911.
For all other care, please call ahead before visiting and wear a mask or face covering.
Those not recommended to wear a mask are children under 2 years old, those who have trouble breathing, are unconscious, incapacitated or unable to remove the mask without assistance.
UnityPoint Health is now testing all patients admitted to our hospitals for COVID-19. This includes planned admissions and transfers of all ages who have not been tested for COVID-19 in the prior 72 hours.

Treatment for COVID-19 Exposure or Symptoms
If you believe you have been exposed to COVID-19, or developed symptoms related to the virus, please call your Blank Children's Provider Team (your primary or specialty provider) before visiting a medical facility. Proper screening and assessment will occur over the phone, and you'll then be advised on next steps. These precautions are important, as they help protect others from being exposed to the virus.
UnityPoint Clinic is asking for our community's help, as we are experiencing extremely high volumes of sick patients and requests for COVID-19 testing. For people who are not sick, and haven't been exposed to COVID-19, but need to be tested for another reason, please consider other testing options in your community such as local pharmacies and public health departments. As always, if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, we want to see you as soon as possible—particularly if you are high risk or unvaccinated.
Treatment for Non-Covid-19 Symptoms
If you need treatment for something unrelated to COVID-19, please call your Blank Children's Provider Team (your pediatric or specialty provider) and they will direct your care.
