Jones Regional Medical Center offers a Smoking Cessation Program to help you learn how to overcome your tobacco addiction so you can start enjoying the benefits of better health.

JRMC Tobacco Cessation Program consists of 8 sessions with a certified tobacco cessation facilitator and medication counseling with a physician.
- Sessions 1-3 "Preparation Phase"
- Session 4 "Quit Day"
- Sessions 5-8 "Maintenance Phase"
Medicare and Medicaid cover 8 sessions each calendar year.
Private insurers are required to provide evidence-based tobacco cessation counseling and interventions to all adults and pregnant women. Private payer benefits are subject to specific plan policies. Check with individual insurance plans to determine what specific interventions are included and the extent to which these interventions are covered.
