Come join the exciting adventure of pre-hospital Emergency Medicine! Managed by UnityPoint Health - Jones Regional Medical Center, Anamosa Area Ambulance is looking to add to its force at all levels-from emergency medical technician (EMT) to paramedic. The ambulance service provides the community with emergency response and is a vital part of Anamosa and the surrounding communities.
Certified EMTs or paramedic may fill out an application on this website. Other requirements include current CPR certification, a current, violation free Iowa driver's license, and you must be at least 21 years of age. Those living within a 5 minute response area may response from home while on call status. Anamosa Ambulance provides a sleep quarters for those on call who live outside of the response area.
Other requirements include current CPR certification and a current, violation free Iowa driver's license. Those within five minutes of the ambulance office can stay on call from home. Sleeping quarters are available at Jones Regional for those more than five minutes away.
In addition to providing emergency response, Anamosa Area Ambulance provides coverage at local athletic events and other special community events.

Ambulance Employment Requirements
The following are established requirements that must be met by all persons employed by the Anamosa Area Ambulance.
All ambulance personnel must possess:
- Valid certification as an EMT/Paramedic by appropriate state agency
- Valid Class D3 Iowa driver's license. Without violations
- Valid, current, American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
Paramedics must also possess:
- Valid, current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Valid, current Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
