Surgical Open

The Jones Regional Medical Center Foundation Surgical Open is a two-person best shot, with 2 rounds of 9 holes each, golf tournament held annually each June, with this year's event at Little Bear Country Club in Wyoming. The Surgical Open began in 1983 as a fun event aimed at raising funds to support the needs of the hospital.  Throughout the years, the hospital has changed along with new advances in medical technology and the needs of the community.  As the new hospital expands services the need for additional equipment is essential. Funds raised go toward programs and equipment to allow more procedures to be provided locally.

Entrance fee of $35 includes:

  • Green fee
  • Opportunity to win cash flight prizes and pin prizes
  • Cart reservations is an additional fee

Save the Date! 2018 Surgical Open is Friday, June 8th beginning at 10 a.m.

For more information on the Surgical Open, please contact Deb Byers,  Physician Liaison at (319) 481-6314 or Sheila Tjaden,Community Development Director at (319) 481-6118.

Beautification Fund

Have you visited Jones Regional Medical Center and noticed the beautiful images of the Jones County area that decorate our walls? Several hundred images are available at the links below to sponsor through the Beautification project beginning at just $1,000 per panel. Photos can also be enlarged to include multiple panels and can be a perfect way to honor or memorialize a loved one through a gift to the Jones Regional Medical Center Foundation.

The proceeds of these images are used for a variety of projects that add beauty to our hospital grounds, such as raised flower beds, inpatient patio area, and future landscaping projects.
