Brian O'Shaughnessy, MD
Brian O'Shaughnessy, MD brings significant experience to UnityPoint Clinic – Neurology – Waterloo. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed his residency at the Loyola University Medical Center.
Dr. O'Shaughnessy specializes in treating Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, migraine headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome and stroke. He has always enjoyed the opportunity to be an attentive listener and develop relationships with patients as he assists with their healthcare needs. has joined the
Nakita Stephens, MD
Nakita Stephens, MD has joined the team of providers at UnityPoint
Clinic Neurology – Waterloo. She is a native of the Caribbean island nation
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, where she first came to understand the
importance of quality neurologic care.
Dr. Stephens vows to treat each
patient as an individual and is motivated to help everyone live a quality life.
She specializes in care and treatment related to epilepsy and, in her free
time, enjoys making music.
Kate Bolick, ARNP
Kate Bolick, ARNP joined the team of providers
at UnityPoint Clinic – Neurology – Waterloo after providing care in the clinic
as a nurse for more than a decade. She earned her bachelor's degree from Allen
College and completed her master's degree at Maryville University.
Kate understands the value of clear
communication between patient and provider and seeks to help everyone commit to
a healthier lifestyle. In her free time, Kate enjoys time family and friends,
exercising and being outdoors as much as possible.
Jess Pifkin, ARNP
Jess Pifkin, ARNP has joined the team of providers at UnityPoint Clinic – Neurology – Waterloo. She earned her BSN from Grand View University and completed her MSN at Allen College.
As a provider, Jess's philosophy is to listen to the patient and work together with them to find the best treatment or management for their condition. In her free time, Jess enjoys camping, traveling, gardening, and art projects with her husband and their kids.
