Allen Foundation strengthens the programs, services and community relationships of Allen Health System.
Allen Foundation endows the best outcome for every patient and every student, every time.
Your Support Sustains Us
Allen Hospital, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, has been caring for families in the Cedar Valley since 1925. And thanks to you, we are building to care for generations to come. Last year, with your generosity, the Foundation returned more than $1.1 million to the hospital, college and UnityPoint Hospice. For example, 16 ICU rooms received new reclines and we purchased a 3D mammography machine with tomotherapy.
Ways to Give
There are as many different ways to support Allen Hospital as there are needs for your support. Planning a gift is more than just finding a need. There are a lot of factors to consider. If you are not familiar with the concepts and strategies of charitable gift planning, you might want to take a moment to consider some of the factors in planning for the future.
There are several different tax-deductible ways you can give to the Allen Foundation.
Gifts include cash, pledges, securities, life insurance and real estate. Many contributors multiply their support of the Allen Foundation by taking advantage of their employers' matching gifts program.
Long-range estate and financial planning offer the opportunity for you to make substantial contributions while benefiting your own financial status. Bequests and trusts continue to be critical to the Foundation's support.
Finally, a memorial gift is a meaningful way to recognize the memory of a loved one, be it a family member, friend, or colleague. Honorary gifts make sure a person's life and accomplishments are not forgotten, and the Allen Foundation will notify the honoree or next of kin should you choose to designate a memorial gift.
