Human Trafficking is a growing issue in cities across the United States and exists in the Quad Cities. We invite professionals to attend to learn the following objectives. CEU's will be provided to those in attendance.
Objectives: Understand human trafficking as a health care issue that exists in Iowa and Illinois as well as identify intervention approaches, community resources, common indicators, and health issues of trafficked people.
Intended Audience: Multi-disciplinary professionals including: Law Enforcement, Attorneys, Department of Human Services, Juvenile Court, Health Care Providers, Victim Services Providers, Social Workers and Counselors.
