Biography
Laura joined the UnityPoint Health – Eyerly Ball team in the summer of 2022. She is a mental health therapist, with an interest in child and family work, that works with individuals 3 years of age and older. Laura is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy (TIYT). Laura supports individuals and families in identifying and enhancing their strengths to make positive change in their lives.
Previously, Laura provided mental health therapy to children, adults, and families while working at ChildServe in Johnston, Iowa. During her time there Laura worked with a diverse populations including, but not limited to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, neurodivergent, mood related disorders, trauma, attachment concerns and family systems conflict.
