Biography

About Brittney Balik, PA

I became a PA in Family Medicine to care for people of all ages. As the mother of a 1 year old daughter, I love seeing children, watching them grow, and following them throughout the years into adulthood. I also have experience in women’s health and managing chronic conditions, including high blood pressure and diabetes. I do feel it is important to focus on preventative health and live an overall healthy lifestyle. However, when illness or injury strikes, I am here to diagnose, treat, and promote a quick recovery.

A little about me - I am originally from Dike, IA, and went to UNI where I graduated with a BA in Microbiology and Exercise Science in 2013. I then went to Des Moines University and graduated from the PA program in 2015. I got married shortly after and began working at Unity Point Family Medicine in Fort Dodge, IA. After 2 years, my family and I relocated to the Cedar Rapids area, and I began working at the Unity Point clinic in Mount Vernon, IA.

We love the area and look forward to building our family here.

Thinking about all of the patients that are counting on me to take care of them that day.
