$75

$10 - Scholarships for those who receive free school lunches

**Registration will close when all 20 spots are full, or 1 week prior to Nurse Camp starting.


Additional Event Information

  • Breakfast and lunch provided
  • Close-toed shoes (such as tennis shoes) are required. NO sandals, open-toed shoes or open-back shoes are allowed.
  • Electronics and personal items are not allowed at camp. Cell phones can be brought but must be put away unless there is an emergency.  Nurse Camp is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Nurse Camp is interested in the welfare of all children. Participants in Nurse Camp programs are expected to follow the rules of the program and obey the direction of the staff. A child’s failure or inability to follow rules or obey directions may cause a serious discipline problem. If a child becomes a serious discipline problem, the staff will notify the parents and the child will be sent home immediately. 
  • Parents should notify the camp leaders of any allergies or concerns on the registration form and may call (515) 241-6811 or (515) 241-6821 if additional concerns arise. 

PHOTO CONSENT

  • Complete this photo consent to give permission for photographs to be taken of your child at Nurse Camp. Email the signed consent form to wanda.goranson@unitypoint.org or you can print the consent and give to camp staff on the first day.

Cancellations that occur 14 days or more prior to the start of camp will recieve a full refund. If cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to the start of camp, no refund will be offered.


Directions to the Simulation Education Center:

From I-235 in Des Moines:

  • Take the Keo Way exit 7 and go South
  • Turn right onto 12th Street
  • Turn right onto Pleasant Street
  • Follow the road to the Visitor Parking Ramp to park
  • Park on Level 5 – Bay E, F, or G
  • Take Elevator 2 (the set of elevators in the back side of the parking ramp) to floor 2. Once off of the elevator turn right and you will arrive at the Simulation Center.
