In-Person Event

Mind, Birth & Baby Essentials: In-Person (4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21/24)

In-Person Series

In Mind, Birth & Baby Essentials: In-Person, a four-class series, Meriter’s team of dedicated educators will help expectant parents learn a mindful and intentional approach to birth and parenting. The program will include the basics of childbirth, newborn care and breastfeeding education. In addition, you and your support person will learn and practice mindfulness-based relaxation techniques and explore responsive parenting. This class is designed to support all births (un-medicated, medicated, planned or un-planned cesarean). You will leave with tools that help you have an empowered birth experience and develop meaningful, connected relationships as you begin your parenting and breastfeeding journey.

For your comfort during relaxation practice, please bring 2 pillows and a blanket or mat to the first class.

To add to your learning, you will receive three InJoy app cards:

“Understanding Birth", “Understanding Breastfeeding”, and “Understanding

Your Newborn”. The information found here is available to you for 18-months.

This class series will meet at the Jeff Levy Education Center, 2180 W. Beltline Hwy, Madison, WI

Tuesdays - April 30, May 7, 14 and 21, 2024, 6:00-8:30 p.m.
