Knee Surgery

We offer a full spectrum of treatments for painful knees – from physical therapy to traditional and advanced surgical options. 

Please Contact An Orthopedic Surgeon If You Have:

  • Knee pain with activity, usually on the inner knee and/or knee cap
  • Start-up knee pain or stiffness when activities are initiated from a sitting position
  • Failure to respond to non-surgical treatments or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication

To Avoid Knee Injuries

  • Maintain a healthy weight to avoid stress on the knee
    (One pound of weight loss takes four pounds off of the joint)
  • Maintain good strength, especially in the thigh (quadriceps) muscle
  • Wear shoes that are comfortable and provide good cushioning
  • Slowly increase the intensity level of physical activities
  • Always stretch before exercising
  • Maintain good flexibility
