Heartfelt thanks to Tyler and Tina Noel for graciously hosting a gourmet dinner in their home for UnityPoint Health - Meriter's Child & Adolescent Psychiatry program.  More than $45,000 was raised to improve the care environment for children struggling with mental health illness.

The 2016 National Philanthropy Day Awards will be presented at the 29th Annual Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) awards luncheon, on Friday, November 4th at Overture Center for the Arts. Each spring, individuals nominate candidates in one of eight categories: lifetime achievement, outstanding individual philanthropist, outstanding business or corporation, outstanding small business or corporation, outstanding volunteer fundraiser, outstanding fundraising professional, outstanding philanthropic organization or foundation, and outstanding young philanthropist.
