Opening Their Hearts and Home
Tyler and Tina Noel
Tyler and Tina have combined their love of entertaining with their love of kids to help raise awareness and support for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) program at UnityPoint Health - Meriter. The couple hosts annual fundraising dinners in their home, bringing friends, family, and colleagues together for a special evening of inspiration and enlightenment about the mental health crisis kids are facing in our community. Tyler was first introduced to CAP when he served as a member of the Meriter Foundation Board of Directors. Today, Tyler and Tina are dedicated advocates of the program.
Making A Difference
Raising awareness and eliminating the stigma behind mental health treatment for all age groups, but especially for children, is what drives Tyler and Tina to make a difference. As parents, they see the increased pressures placed on kids today as greater than ever. Through their efforts and personal contributions, the Noels hope to expand access to clinical mental health resources and expertise so that when children need care, it’s there for them as well as their families.
“We really enjoy hosting fundraising dinners for causes we care about, and the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry program is especially near and dear to our hearts. It’s an outstanding resource for kids and families in our community. We have wonderful, generous friends and family, and we feel inspired to do what we can to help other kids who desperately need care.”
