UnityPoint Clinic offers the only dedicated sports medicine center in the Cedar Valley to diagnose and treat sports related injuries. Our team understands what is most important to athletes and can provide surgery or other therapies all in one location to ensure a safe recovery and help return to action as quick as possible.

Comprehensive Treatment Plans

When a sports injury occurs, the orthopedic team will provide a medical assessment on-site and determine if other diagnostic tests are needed such as an x-ray or MRI, which can be completed on-site at United Medical Park. Providers and staff will work with the patient and their family to evaluate all available options and determine a path forward.

When appropriate, we also offer physical therapy services at the clinic. Doing this in the same location allows the orthopedic team to follow-up and evaluate the progress of athletes throughout the recovery process.

Saturday Sports Injury Clinic

The UnityPoint Clinic Sports Medicine Center is open 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday mornings to provide assessment and diagnosis soon after the injury occurs instead of waiting several days to schedule an appointment with other specialists. Doing so is critical to ensuring a safe recovery and returning to the field or court as quick as possible. The sports injury clinic accepts walk-ins, no appointment or referral necessary.
