Awards & Recognition

Recognition for Dedicated Care

Patients are at the center of everything we do at Grundy County Memorial Hospital. For the ninth consecutive year, the focus on Patient Experience has resulted in the hospital being awarded national recognition by hospital consulting firm Press Ganey.  The 2017 Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence award has been awarded to GCMH Outpatient Services, following eight prior years of recognition for the Emergency Department.

Recognition for patient experience and satisfaction, as well as patient safety,  is evidence that our best practices in health care are appreciated and noticed by patients. GCMH associates regularly celebrate our success, and work hard to improve upon practices and procedures to maintain high standards for patient care.
