Visiting Our Patients
General Visiting Hours
UnityPoint Health - Trinity Regional Medical Center has open visiting hours. We encourage families to visit and participate in the care of their loved one. However, there may be planned times for rest depending on the unit and the patient's condition.
A Reminder that Caring May Mean Not Visiting
In an effort to keep your loved one safe, please do not visit any patient if you have any of the following signs of illness:
- Runny nose
- Sore throat
To help prevent the spread of illness, all visitors are required to wash hands with soap and water, or use alcohol-based hand foam/gel upon entering and exiting a patient's room.
In addition, Trinity asks anyone coming into either Emergency Room with influenza-like illness (fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, runny nose, nausea, vomiting), or accompanying persons with influenza-like illness to stay in their assigned room; another preventive measure to help minimize the spread of illness to other patients and staff.
After Hours Entry
For security reasons, the hospital locks its doors each evening at 9:00pm. After 9:00pm you must enter through the Emergency Room door to visit a patient.
