Heart Failure Class is a good program for patients who have had heart failure or have a heart problem that puts them at risk for heart failure. Learn more about about heart failure and how to control symptoms and prevent problems. Family members and care givers may also attend.
Time: 1 - 3:30pm
Location: Entrance C, take elevator on left to second floor. Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab Education Room.
The class is taught by a registered nurse and dietician. The following topics are discussed:
•causes of heart failure
•low salt diet
•eating out guidelines
•reading food labels
•heart failure pills
•living with heart failure
•program for people with heart failure (or caregivers)
