UnityPoint Health - Des Moines

Current Projects and Funds

The UnityPoint Health Foundation has been committed to generating resources for the sustainability and advancement of health care in Des Moines and the surrounding communities since 1980. The generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations has afforded us the ability to touch the lives of our community through numerous enhancements to the health services provided at Methodist, Lutheran, Blank Children's, Methodist West, John Stoddard Cancer Center and Taylor House Hospice.

Our hospitals alone cannot support all that is necessary to fulfill their mission. In that light, UnityPoint Health Foundation is increasingly called upon to secure funding for projects. Most recently philanthropy played a crucial role in the building of Methodist West Hospital, Blank Children's Hospital renovation and expansion, Iowa Lutheran's Emergency Department project and the Conference and Learning Center. Due to changes in the health care payment system, the need for charitable contributions is growing each year.

We invite you to impact the future of health in your community through a contribution to the UnityPoint Health Foundation. Your gift, large or small, will be combined with gifts from others who recognize the importance of healthcare and want to ensure quality care for future generations.

Various giving options are available to meet your individual needs. Please choose one of our hospitals or health center below to find out more.
