The Dr. Rhys B. Jones Dental Health Center
Recently the Dental Health Center changed its name to the Dr. Rhys B. Jones Dental Health Center. The name change honors longtime director Rhys B. Jones, DDS, MS, who provided the Center with his vision, passion and leadership. He dedicated his entire career to improving the dental health of low-income children and developmentally disabled adults in our community. Dr. Jones died suddenly in April 2012.
"We wanted this center to be named after him since he was a kind, generous and compassionate public health servant"said Ritu Bansal, DDS, MPH, director of the Dr. Rhys B. Jones Dental Health Center.
