Financial Information

Applications are due on October 15 for the class starting the following June/December. A $35 non-refundable processing fee is required with each application submitted to the Medical Laboratory Science program.

Tuition is $6,100 (includes $100 book rental fee) for the 44-week clinical program. Upon selection, a nonrefundable $200 deposit must accompany the student's letter of intent, with the remaining amount due and payable at admission. Any exceptions to this payment plan must be arranged prior to the admission date.

If a student withdraws or is dismissed during the first 12 weeks of the program, $500 per week will be charged for the first 12 weeks, with the remaining tuition refunded to the student. The week will start each Monday at 0500. Any part of a week will be figured as a whole week. No refunds will be made after the first 12 weeks.

Students will be responsible for providing their own housing, meals, and uniforms. Lab coats will be provided and textbooks will be on site the first day of class, which students can check out for personal use.

Stipends are not part of the program. However, there are opportunities available for students to be employed in sections of the clinical laboratory in which they have been trained or successfully completed the clinical rotation.

Health insurance policies are available for students through a hospital group policy at the student's expense. Liability insurance for students will be provided by St. Luke's Hospital. Dental insurance is not available to students.
