Information

Purpose:

The purpose of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is to help all course participants succeed in acquiring the skills and knowledge they need for their professional role in resuscitation attempts. Class meets 8 am-3 pm the first day, 8 am-11 am the second day.

Continuing Education:

IBON Provider No. 46 awards 8.75 contact hours.

Faculty:

Medical Director for St. Luke’s ACLS Program - Dr. Dustin Arnold; Jennifer Houlihan, RN, MSN, CNML  St. Luke's certified ACLS instructors who are professional nurses, paramedics and respiratory therapists active in all areas of adult critical care and education.

Cost:  All Participants: $100 for provider course

Prerequisite:

Participants must have taken a Basic Dysrhythmia course prior to class.  Rhythm strips are shown in ACLS, and without prior knowledge of how rhythms look, it is hard to pass the course.
