PALS is a 1 day course from 7:30am to 4pm.

Purpose: 

The purpose of this program is to give information needed to recognize the infant or child at risk of cardiac or respiratory arrest and prevent, if possible.  The program also provides cognitive and psychomotor skills necessary for resuscitation and stabilizing the infant in respiratory failure, shock or arrest.

Prerequisite:  Current BCLS Status - Pre-course Assessment

Continuing Education:  IBON Provider No. 46 awards 8 contact hours for the initial ACLS class and  contact hours for the Renewal Class.

Faculty:        Tami Roseberry, RN

St. Luke's PALS certified instructors are professional nurses, paramedics and respiratory therapists, active in all areas of adult and pediatric critical care and education.

Target Audience:  Registered nurses and other interested healthcare professionals.
