American Heart Association: Basic Life Support - HeartCode BLS (Healthcare Provider CPR)

This four hour course is for all healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, medical assistants, students and any other allied personnel who provide healthcare to patients in a variety of settings, in or out of the hospital. 

American Heart Association's information and skills covered include cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) including use of barrier and bag-valve-mask devices, use of the automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO) for all ages.



  • There is a written and skills test at the end of the course.  
  • A course completion card is issued after passing these requirements. 
  • This course has a two-year recommended renewal.
  • Class Fee - $65
